La Junta students build virtual Bent's Old Fort

The video is about a club called Immersive Education club which is using Minecraft to rebuild a virtual Bent's old fort. People who join the club first familiarize themselves with the game by slowly learning how to to build in the game. Eventually they will start to use an architectural program called Autocad.

The National Park Service says this is a great way to preserve history and helps future generations familiarize themselves with this historic place. This club is great because most students who are in it, really enjoy it and it makes learning engineering and architectural principals a lot more fun. Students are engaged more when they enjoy what they do.
